I send my warmest congratulations that Okinawa International Movie Festival can will begin. The movies and comedy fans looked forward to its holding. I wish to express my deeply gratitude to the parties involved for this festival to happen. This movie festival which attracted various contents, so to speak, may be able to be said the entertainment ‘Champuru’ . The Okinawa dish ‘Champuru’ comes from Okinawa’s dialect, and it means that something to mix the various ingredients and make one. The meaning of the word shows inhabitants of the prefecture's character. “Laugh” as the first class ‘Champuru Entertainment’ will sent exceeding frame of the current movie festival. With the current social conditions, this festival comes in perfect timing, and I firmly believe that it will bring the participants of course, people in the world ‘the highest laugher’, ‘the peace mind’, and ‘the vitality’. It will also activate the tourist and convention industry in Okinawa Prefecture. I was also impatiently waiting for this day which felt eternal, so I would like to laugh a lot, enjoy, and get energy during the festival.
