Even I, a director of Pusan International Film Festival of the 14th times in this year, was looking forward to embarking Okinawa International Movie Festival like everybody. I am with a very happy feeling to finally have this chance. I believe Okinawa International Movie Festival will come to stay in Okinawa, a Japanese entertainment root, as the unique film festival that can realize the theme “Laugh & Peace”. I hope it to be a significant movie festival that everybody will never forgets.
