American Village which is the venue has the concept, “Town that is cheap, near, and happy”. This region where Chatan Town exploited and sold in lots for public-owned inns, aiming to create jointly enterprises as a spot where local and other region people could enjoy “Okinawa Champuru Culture,” a fusion culture with Okinawa/Ryukyu and America. Now American Village on the marvelous view is growing up as one of the eminent urban resorts in Japan with the cooperation of the people from our townsman, Okinawa Prefecture, and national organizations involved. This region is called musicians’ and entertainers’ gateway to success, a lot of young people debuts here. The concept “Laugh & Peace” is related to the hospitality that original people from Okinawa Prefectures have, so I think this concept is a comprehensible message for citizen. This town, as for, I would like to create a place which can be enjoyed with confidence for activation in the town and pulling audiences, and it is the festival that provides this business opportunity. Chatan Town promises to support the festival firmly. I wish that many people will come to Chatan Town, and I will state my greeting with a prayer for being a great success.
