Yoshimoto Kogyo has made an effort to send many people “Laugh” and release human mind from anxiety or tensions in this Japanese stressful society by “Laugh” about 100 years. Okinawa International Movie Festival with the theme “Laugh & Peace” must succeed under Yoshimoto’s strong support, therefore all people can communicate with each other through movies and pictures. Okinawa is an original place in the expression of art, with rich culture and eternal history, surrounded by beautiful nature. The movie festival is an important role for encouraging the content industry and developing the local economy. I pray that “Laugh & Peace” will urge on the cultural communication in the world and will introduce the worth of various Asian cultures beyond the border.
